Our newest Raiders!  Cadets passing their tryouts last week were Alex Knoedler, Jessica Loper, Jordan Copeland, Austin Shepard, and Aaron Worley.  Great job, guys...welcome to the Raider Platoon!

A Fun Day of Geocaching!

Geocaching this weekend!



We'll head out to the Eco Park area to hit three geocaches on Sunday afternoon.  If you want to join us, meet SFC Vertrees at the high school parking lot at 1:00 PM on Sunday afternoon.  We'll be finished around 4:00 PM.  Be prepared to hike a couple of miles.  Hope to see you there!

Raider Platoon Tryouts Round #3

When:  Tuesday, October 12, 2010   3:00 PM
Where:  Meet in SFC Vertrees' classroom (Room 14), then out to Citizens Stadium
Who:  Any and all cadets interested in becoming a Raider
What:  Physical fitness test! 
           Male standards:  42 pushups, 53 sit ups, 1-mile run in at least 7:30
           Female standards:  20 pushups, 53 sit ups, 1-mile run in at least 8:30
Uniform:  Civilian, weather-appropriate PT clothing

We hope to see a BUNCH of new cadets try out!!!  See you there!

New Raiders Earn Berets, Tabs, and Cords!

Congratulations to Cadet Private Franklin Bethune, Cadet Private Austin Keeler, and Cadet First Sergeant Dominic Sorrenti.  On October 1, 2010, they were awarded their khaki beret, Raider tab, and black cord.  All three have passed tryouts, and have met the requirements for these awards.  Great job, men!
